T&RCIC

Tadcaster and Rural is your community company for your community projects. We are a ‘Community Interest Company’ (CIC) which means we are a not-for-profit social enterprise. Our Directors are all volunteers and none of the monies we receive for project delivery is paid to external shareholders. We are proud to be a Real Living Wage employer.

Tadcaster and Rural was established in 2013 as a new not-for-profit social enterprise for the town and surrounding villages in order to drive forward projects and initiatives – project ideas that come from the community and can be then delivered in and by the community. We have a Board of Directors and employ an Executive Officer and a team of youthworkers, all based at our community hub building, The Barn.
